Walk Alone

A look at the detail

The Starting Point

Walk Alone is the study of the detail, the highlighting of everything that is “surrounding”.

A research project that shows the forgotten places, the once sprawled.

The Idea

During our life journey, there are many details we forget to pay attention to. They are what makes that journey an unforgettable experience.

The projects lasted 5 years, touching three continents and several nations. Walking on desolate Australian beaches, on busy American streets, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, or travelling on an old bus: sometimes travelling around the world also becomes an inner journey, personal research, a never-ending attempt to live more intensely.

The project focuses on objects, plants and landscapes. They are treated like human beings, in a constant relationship with what they are surrounded by.
